Bartel Van de Walle as member of the Steering Committee of WOTRO Science for Global Development. WOTRO is very pleased to welcome Van de Walle, also because of his efforts to take science beyond the university walls and into society. At TU Delft, Van de Walle is also a member of the steering committee of TU Delft | Global Initiative. Read more 28 October 2019 Chris van Bergen nominated for TU Delft Best Graduate Award 2019 Delft University Fund announced the eight TU Delft Best Graduates of 2019. Each faculty has named their Best Graduate 2019, totalling a number of eight talented recently graduated engineers. Chris van Bergen is best graduate of TPM and will vie for the prize with her thesis on public support for tradable peak credits as an instrument to reduce traffic jams. On November 12, during the TU Delft Best Graduate Award Ceremony 2019, the Best Graduates will present their excellent master theses. Read more 28 August 2019 MAS researchers receive funding from NWO Urbanising Deltas of the World NWO has selected four projects to receive funding in the first round of the Connecting Worlds of Knowledge call of the Urbanising Deltas of the World (UDW) research and innovation programme. All four projects are led by main applicants from the global south. TPM researchers are involved in three of these projects. The projects are aimed at enhancing the use and translation of UDW research results for innovation and implementation in delta management and policies. Read more ...
