Gerdien de Vries national expert for the Energy Sector Behavioral Insights Platform

Gerdien de Vries has been appointed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) as national expert for the Energy Sector Behavioural Insights Platform. The new platform is part of the International Energy Agency (IEA) and should contribute to increasing desirable energy behaviour, such as saving energy.

The NWO Executive board has appointed TPM prof. Bartel Van de Walle as member of the Steering Committee of WOTRO Science for Global Development. WOTRO is very pleased to welcome Van de Walle, also because of his efforts to take science beyond the university walls and into society. At TU Delft, Van de Walle is also a member of the steering committee of TU Delft | Global Initiative.

Chris van Bergen nominated for TU Delft Best Graduate Award 2019

Delft University Fund announced the eight TU Delft Best Graduates of 2019. Each faculty has named their Best Graduate 2019, totalling a number of eight talented recently graduated engineers. Chris van Bergen is best graduate of TPM and will vie for the prize with her thesis on public support for tradable peak credits as an instrument to reduce traffic jams. On November 12, during the TU Delft Best Graduate Award Ceremony 2019, the Best Graduates will present their excellent master theses.

Scott Cunningham and Cees van Beers received 154,000 euro funding for the BigProd project (total budget of 1 million euro), which was funded by H2020.
