The art & media studios at X are a set of more than 10 studios that range from photography to woodworking and from the ancient art of pottery to 21st-century 3D art. X-subscription holders are offered the opportunity to spend weekends working on their own creative projects in professional art studios with access to an incredible amount of professional machinery, tools and materials. All this is under the guidance of experienced assistants and with many studio-related events to serve as sources of inspiration.
The ticket hour ‘The Studio Sessions: Screen Printing’ is the second in a series of ticket hours introducing you to X's art and media studios. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to explore various artistic techniques and media under expert guidance.
What to expect. Personalised guidance from idea to masterpiece, with support tailored to your unique style. For a design to be screen-printed, it must meet a number of requirements. For example, you will learn how to build an image if you want to use different colours. You will then transfer your design to a screen printing frame and start printing. You learn about different substrates and corresponding inks.
The Studio Sessions are for everyone, regardless of your experience. Whether you are just starting out or have been painting or drawing for years, you can decide what you work on and with which materials. Meet creative like-minded people, improve your skills and discover your creative potential in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
