Singing in a group is extra challenging because all voices are equally important in the whole and must all be on pitch at the same time to come together. Groups often sing in harmony. Singing harmonies (polyphonic) is when the singers in a group sing different notes to form a layered melody. This can be done a capella or with instrumental accompaniment.

Prior to the first lesson, you will be assigned to the group that best suits your level. The focus in the lessons is on healthy use of voice and singing (harmonies) together. During the course you will discover the possibilities of singing in a group. You will get singing exercises, work on interpretation, improvise, work on harmonies and techniques and discover the different elements that can influence the sound of your voice.

You can register for this course at any of the times; the teacher makes a division on the first day of the course. The teacher will divide the groups into 'All levels' and 'Advanced'.
