In order to portray a clear and recognisable identity, it is very important that names and corporate design are used in a consistent manner. S&C is part of TU Delft and therefore uses a number of fixed TU Delft corporate design guidelines (https://www.tudelft.nl/en/tu-delft-corporate-design/). The Unit Sports & Culture has its own design and image within the guidelines of the TU Delft corporate design, which is in line with who we are and what we do. After all, you don’t come to S&C for an academic course or training, but for your leisure time and your personal development. With the use of the corporate design, we therefore seek the boundaries to help us stand out. The corporate design handbook has been drawn up for all the rules concerning the TU Delft corporate design that are specifically aimed at S&C.
This corporate design handbook will be available on this page soon. Under the tabs applications, examples and downloads you will find the most essential information and guidelines regarding the corporate design of S&C.
Use of the name
The official name of our organisation is the ‘Unit Sport & Cultuur’. Translated into English, that is ‘Unit Sports & Culture’. If we are talking about internal Sports & Culture matters or our programme range, we often refer to Sports & Culture or S&C.
To distinguish between individual buildings, the Unit Sports or Unit Culture is sometimes used. The names Sports Centre, Culture Centre, or Sports and Culture Centre have not been used since 2009.
Language of communication
Dutch is the language used for communicating with TU Delft staff and students. With a view to internationalisation, it is important that information is available in English as well (British English is used).
Downloads, examples and applications
Unde the tab downloads you will find a number of formats that can be used, guidelines, and an overview of the means of communication that S&C has at its disposal for sports and culture associations, among others. The tab examples shows some of the most common means of communication S&C uses and under the applications tab you will find some basic guidelines of use of logos, typography, images and colour.
