My Study Planning
MyStudyPlanning (MSP) is a digital tool used at the faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences for track registration and for the compiling and approval of an exam programme for MSc students of our faculty. The usage and functions of MSP can differ per programme and/or cohort. Below you will find the information on usage of MSP for each MSc programme and cohort and the corresponding links to MSP and other relevant information regarding the compiling and submitting of your Individual Study Plan. MSP for MSc Civil Engineering students MSc Civil Engineering students of cohort 2024/2025 All MSc Civil Engineering (CIE) students of cohort 24/25 need to register for a track in MSP. Students need to submit three tracks in order of preference, accompanied with a motivation letter for your primary track selection. This needs to be done before Friday the 11th of October . Below you can find the instructions for writing your motivation letter. Students who start their MSc CIE after the 11th of October need to submit their track selection at the moment they start their MSc programme. All students will be informed about the track they are matched with after two weeks. Once registered for a track you can follow the corresponding modules. After you have chosen your track you can also compile and submit your Individual Study Plan (exam programme) for approval from your track coordinator, via MSP, by using the same link for cohort 24/25 below. You will be notified when this part of MSP opens. After having logged in, you can submit your exam programme via the tab ‘course selection’, if not forwarded automatically. Please make sure to submit your Individual Study Plan for approval before the 1st of June . Master Civil Engineering 2024/2025 Instructions for the motivation letter: Max 500 words (1A4) Upload in PDF Only write a motivation for your first preference Describe why you are well suited for this track and why is this track well suited for you. For your description use the following criteria: Your personal motivation for this track: e.g., what track/discipline elements align with your specific interests? Your relevant strong points: e.g., bachelor examples, MUDE examples if available, your specific skills/competences, extra activities and rewards, etc. Your professional ambitions and contribution to (specifics topics in) this field after graduation. MSc Civil Engineering students of cohort 2023-2024 and earlier MSc CIE students of earlier cohorts can select their track and submit their Individual Study Plan if they have not done so already via the links below: Master Civil Engineering 2023/2024 Master Civil Engineering 2022/2023 Master Civil Engineering 2021/2022 Master Civil Engineering 2020/2021 MSc CE students of cohort 19/20 and earlier must submit their individual study plan using the form “Master examination programme” and follow the instructions given on the form. In case of questions, please consult your track coordinator or an academic counsellor . MSP for MSc Environmental Engineering students MSc Environmental Engineering students All MSc Environmental Engineering students need to register for a track in MSP. Students need to submit three tracks in order of preference, accompanied with a motivation letter only for your primary track selection . This needs to be done before the 7th of October . The selection of three tracks in MSP is due to administrative reasons. All students who have made their track selection and uploaded a motivation letter will be matched with their track of choice. Students who start their MSc Environmental Engineering after this deadline need to submit their track selection and motivation letter at the moment they start their MSc programme. All students will be informed about the track they are matched with after two weeks. Once registered for a track you can follow the corresponding modules. After you have chosen your track you can also compile and submit your Individual Study Plan (exam programme) for approval from your track coordinator, via MSP, by using the same link below. MSP for MSc Applied Earth Sciences students MSc Applied Earth Sciences students of cohort 2024-2025 All MSc Applied Earth Sciences (AES) students of cohort 24/25 need to register for a discipline in MSP. Students need to submit two disciplines in order of preference accompanied with a PDF-file, which includes the answers to the M-AES Discipline Choice Form. This needs to be done before week 2.7. Below you can find the instructions for filling in the format. Students who start their MSc AES after this deadline need to submit their discipline selection at the moment they start their MSc programme. All students will be informed about the discipline they are matched with after two weeks. Once registered for a discipline you can follow the corresponding modules. After you have chosen your track you can also compile and submit your Individual Study Plan (exam programme) for approval from your track coordinator, via MSP, by using the same link for cohort 24/25 below. You will be notified when this part of MSP opens. After having logged in, you can submit your exam programme via the tab ‘course selection’, if not forwarded automatically. Please make sure to submit your Individual Study Plan for approval before the 1st of June . Applied Earth Sciences students cohort 24/25 Instructions for filling in and uploading the Discipline Choice Form in MyStudyPlanning: Fill in the Microsoft Form M-AES Discipline Choice , try to answer all of the questions. After clicking “send” you will have the option to save your answers. Then you can open your 'answers' and use the Print option of your browser to save it as PDF. Upload the PDF-file in MyStudyPlanning. MSc Applied Earth Sciences students of cohort 2023-2024 and earlier MSc AES students of cohort 22/23 and earlier can select their track and submit their Individual Study Plan if they have not done so already via the links below: Applied Earth Sciences students cohort 2023/2024 Applied Earth Sciences students cohort 2022/2023 Master Applied Earth Sciences 2021/2022 Master Applied Earth Sciences 2020/2021 MSc AES students of cohort 19/20 and earlier must submit their individual study plan using the form “Master examination programme” and follow the instructions given on the form. MSP for MSc Construction Management and Engineering students Later this academic year, MSc Construction Management and Engineering students of cohort 23/24 will find their MSP link here. MSc Construction Management and Engineering students of cohort 19/20, 20/21, 21/22 and 22/23 can use MSP to submit or make changes to their individual study plan. CME students of cohort 18/19 or earlier need to use the ISP form, which can be found on this webpage . Students of cohort 20/21, 21/22 and 22/23 of the MSc CME need to choose a specialisation and submit their course selection, while students of cohort 2019-2020 only need to submit their course selection. MSP for MSc Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics students MSc Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics students of cohort 23/24 can make use of MSP to choose a specialisation (before the end of the first semester) and submit their Individual Study Plan via the link below. TIL students need to submit their Individual Study Plan before the end of second semester. Master Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics 2023/2024 MSc Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics students of cohort 22/23 can make use of MSP to choose a specialisation and submit their Individual Study Plan via the link below. TIL students need to submit their Individual Study Plan before the end of the 1st semester. Master Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics 2022/2023 All students of earlier cohorts can make use of the form “Master examination programme” and follow the instructions given on the form. MSP for Applied Geophysics students Later this academic year, MSc Applied Geophysic students of cohort 24/25 can submit your Individual Study Plan (exam programme) for approval from your master coordinator, via MSP, by using the link for cohort 24/25 below.
