Design & Integration

More than ever before increase of number of stakeholderskinds of stakeholders (contractors, constructors as classical stakeholders, but also people living in the neighbourhood) are involved in designing infrastructures like roads, railways and its bridges, viaducts etc. Demands (both from technical point of view as from point of view of landscape, environmental impact, multi-usability, aesthetic aspects of design) have been changed as well. Furthermore, forms of contracting have been changed dramatically, from specified contracts to modern Design, Build & Maintain-contracts. 

The aim of the Integral Design of Civil Infrastructure group is to contribute to and disseminate knowledge on integral design of these large infrastructure.
