Placement Test
for Students and PhD Candidates
Why do I have to take this test?
Many of you will already have taken an English test before coming to Delft. Don’t worry; we are not asking you to do so again.
As the name says, this is a placement test: We want to make sure that you are placed in the course that is the most suitable for you personally. This means you cannot pass or fail this “test”.
Please note that because we want you to take the course that is best for you, you can only sign up for the recommended courses.
The tests take place in Computer room B at the faculty TPM, Jaffalaan 5, building 31, on:
- Friday 27 September, 09:00
- Wednesday 23 October, 17:00
- Monday 11 November, 16:00
- Monday 2 December, 16:00
Taking this test will allow you to sign up for courses in this academic year.
If you want to take a Placement Test, please register for the course called Placement Test English 2024-2025.
You can enrol for the Placement Test course in Brightspace and then sign up for a specific date. If you have not enrolled in Brightspace yet: search with “Placement Test” here to enrol.
