Academic counsellors
There are academic counsellors at every faculty at TU Delft, and you will meet the academic counsellors for TPM during orientation week at the faculty. They are the first point of contact for any personal circumstances that may affect your studies. They are involved with everything that has to do with the students’ living and academic conditions from information on applying for a course, to referrals to a student psychologist or central student counsellor.
But what does an Academic Counsellor?
You can reach out them by - mail – appointment - during consultation hours - to discuss things impacting your study.
But what kind of thigs?
Think of studying with a disability, need of making a new study planning, study skills, when you have unfortunately to deal with personal circumstances reducing your ability to study. It can also be about the choices to be made within your programme as electives or thesis. We are here for you offering a listening ear in a safe environment free of judgements. We can also help you get access or redirect you to some of the many facilities at the Delft like the student psychologists, student doctors. Do you know of writing coaches of the importunity to work on your personal development by taking a workshop on essential study skills?
