Redevelopment of open spaces X

To better suit the needs of the target group and thus X's vision, the open and freely accessible spaces associated with X's playground will be redesigned/developed. These spaces include: Entrance, Concept Store, Meeting Point, ACT Lab, Café X, Freetown, Foyer, Kitchen, Living Room, Patio, Reflection Room, Backyard and all corridors.
 

ACTLab
The ActLab (Arts, Crafts and Technology lab)  will disappear as an independent space. The materials present there will be sold or distributed among the other design spaces within the visual arts disciplines, such as the Design Studio, the Woodwork Studio and the Pottery. Since 2024, there has been a collaboration with the Maker Space in the Science Centre to promote cross-overs between craft and innovation.

Concept Store closes its doors from 1 July
As soon as you enter X it is there: our beloved Concept Store. The familiar view and the place where you can go for a delicious cup of coffee or tea, for a croissant or bar on-the-go or to buy essentials that you need when participating in the offer at X.

Unfortunately, we have to announce that the Concept Store will close its doors as of 1 July.

Both the ActLab and the Concept Store will not return to the programme in its current form with effect from the new academic year.

Clearance Sale
To end the past years full of wonderful encounters, we are holding a Clearance Sale from Monday 24 June to Sunday 30 June. So come by and score your favourite items with a nice discount and drink a last cup of coffee or tea with your favourite barista!

Don't worry, you are of course still welcome in Cafe X for a snack and a drink. You can also visit our hosts to purchase essentials you need to take advantage of our offer.
