Direct admission to master’s programme
Does your bachelor’s degree match the master’s programme of your choice? In that case you are directly admissible and you can apply for the masters’ programme.
Follow the steps below to register at the TU Delft.
Application deadlines
The academic year starts on September 1st . In order to be enrolled as of September 1st , you must have met the enrolment conditions by August 31st at the latest.
In principle, enrolment after September 1st is not possible. For more information, see the Enrolment webpage on the student portal.
Exception for first-year MSc students
Students with Dutch degrees who want to start the first year of an MSc programme, can enrol during the entire academic year per the 1st of the desired month.
The following enrolment conditions apply:
- The student has an EU/EFTA nationality or in possession of a valid residence permit;
- The student has submitted an Enrolment application via Studielink;
- The BSc course or bridging programme that grants access to the MSc programme has been fully completed;
- The payment obligation has been met.
If you meet these conditions, you can start at the earliest in the month following the month in which you completed the BSc course or bridging programme that grants access to the MSc programme.
Please Note! First-year MSc students who have terminated their enrolment and re-enrol for the 1st year of the same MSc programme, can only start on September 1st.
Payment of tuition fee
The tuition fee is set each year in accordance with the law. For the payment of the tuition fee, examination fees or other fees, the following payment methods are possible:
- Bank transfer
- Digital bank authorisation in Studielink (this is only possible if you have an IBAN checking account (not a savings account) in a SEPA country and do not require any additional services from TU Delft)
- Exemption from payment (in case of a second enrolment, proof of paid tuition fee (BBC), scholarship or if you are an exchange student)

During your studies, you can pursue an additional bachelor's or master's degree at TU Delft or another Dutch educational institution. There are no additional costs involved, you pay the statutory rate only once.
Do you wish to pursue another degree programme after finishing a similar grade? Then you pay the institutional rate, which in this case is set equal to the statutory rate at TU Delft.Click here for more information on enrolment for a second programme. If you are enrolled at another educational institution and you also want to enrol at TU Delft, you must submit an original statement showing that you have paid statutory tuition fees (Proof of Paid Tuition Fees: BBC). You can request this BBC from the educational institution where you have paid the statutory tuition fees. For many institutions, this can be requested via Studielink when entering the payment details for TU Delft, when you register for the degree programme. If this is not possible for you, you must request this at the institution yourself. TU Delft only accepts original (digital) BBCs that are sent directly from the institution to TU Delft by email.

During your bachelor’s or master’s programme, it is possible to register for another bachelor’s or master’s programme at the TU Delft or at another Dutch other Dutch educational institution. There are no additional costs involved, you pay the statutory rate once.
Do you want to follow another bachelor’s or master’s programme after finishing a similar grade? Then you pay the institutional rate, which in this case is set equal to the statutory rate at TU Delft.

Check & complete
If you have met the entry requirements in time, submitted any required documents and fulfilled the payment obligation, your application will be approved and you will be enrolled as a student at TU Delft.
