Academic scholarships open for international students 2025 - 2027
Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) aims to attract the world's brightest students to its international classrooms. For that reason, it has established several scholarship programmes specifically designed to offer talented and motivated international students the opportunity to pursue a degree at TU Delft.
The below scholarships are of particular interest for students from Sub-Saharan Africa and/or South-East Asia to apply:

Ena Voûte Design Engineering Excellence Scholarship | The faculty of Industrial Design and Engineering offers the Ena Voûte Design Engineering Excellence Scholarship for an international student applying for any one of the faculty’s three Master’s programmes. Ena Voûte was dean of IDE from 2012 to 2022 and currently serves as TU Delft’s Pro Vice Rector of International Affairs. “As the design discipline orientates itself to global challenges such as sustainability and health, an international perspective is more important than ever, so I am proud that we are able to support a talented international student via this scholarship each year.” | 15 January 2025 (23:59 CET) |
TU Delft Scholarship for Water Governance | Starting in 2024-2025, the Faculty TPM will offer the TU Delft Scholarship for Water Governance for one student in any of the Master programmes MOT, EPA or CoSEM. TU Delft is proud to establish a Scholarship for Water Governance for talented and ambitious MSc students from any of the following regions: East Asia & Pacific, Central Asia, Latin America & Caribbean, Middle East & North Africa, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa. | 1 February 2025 (23:59 CEST) |
Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships | You are an excellent international applicant (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year regular TU Delft MSc programmes (not a Joint Education Programme). Students must achieved excellent academic results in their previous study programme(s), which must be relevant to the Master's programme for which tthey are applying. As an indication, the student is amongst the top 10% of graduates in his/her previous study programme.
