Ahmad Alrefaei

Ahmad obtained his bachelor degree in chemical engineering from Dalhousie university in Canada 2012 and his master degree in chemical engineering from king Abdulaziz university in 2019. He joined Saudi Aramco 2012 as a process engineer in Jeddah Refinery. In 2018, he moved to Aramco research and development center under the chemicals division as a researcher. In 2020, he was nominated by Aramco to continue his PhD at TU Delft. He joined our group in December 2020 and his research is mainly focused on the high pressure hydrogenation of CO₂ to methanol and DME under the supervision of Prof. Urakawa.
