Do students need to do anything to ensure that their webcam and/or microphone works properly during online proctoring?
We sometimes receive questions about cameras and/or microphones not working in certain applications. This is sometimes due to privacy settings. The option to give applications access to the microphone/camera is then disabled. Students should be instructed to enable this option to use their microphone/camera. During a trial exam, students can test whether their microphone and camera work as needed. Please advise student to try this in advance.
