Impact Studio

Impact Studio is the pre-startup program of TU Delft. A joint venuture with the Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship, Delft Enterprises and TU Delft's Impact and Innovation Centre, it was cretaed to support both researchers and students by offering the following services:

  • Ideation Labs: Helps researchers (and research groups) identify and validate the practical applicability and commercial viability of technologies emerging from their research, and offers students the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship.
  • Customer Discovery Support: a team of experts conducts rapid market validation for technologies or innovations and analyzes market opportunities.
  • Open Office Coaching: Provides the opportunity to ask initial questions to our expert coaches. For everyone who is (working on) thinking about starting a start-up.
  • Digital Founders Library: An online platform with entrepreneurial knowledge and tools to independently take the first steps.

Impact Contest

Since 2019 the TU Delft Impact Contest has offered students the opportunity to further develop their own, ingenious ideas, prototypes and research projects into business plans. The main purpose and mission is to challenge students to create great, out-of-the-box thinking innovative solutions for societal problems and translate them into real products and business plans, while interacting and making use of the expertise from our innovative and very knowledgeable partners.  Academic credits available

Yes!Delft Student Startup Program

Where students become entrepreneurs!

A Yes!Delft Student program in which students get a hands-on approach and guidance from veteran entrepreneurs to work on their start-up ideas. The program is tailor made to work on their start up whilst also being able to finish their degrees successfully.

Graduate Entrepreneur Fund

Graduate Entrepreneur is a platform for and by entrepreneurial students from TU Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam. Founded with entreprenurial alumni from both universities, it offers students with a startup idea the facilities and financing providing unique growth opportunities to start-ups and scale-ups in various sectors such as technology, medicine and social sciences.

The CleanTech Challenge provides entrepreneurial students the chance to work out their innovative ideas from the concept stage to a final business plan, with the help of professionals throughout the process.
