Hij is er: de nieuwste editie van het Home of Innovation magazine. Het magazine bevat interviews met sleutelfiguren en beleidsmakers en verslagen uit het innovatieve ecosysteem van TU Delft. Het overkoepelende thema is de energietransitie, ter ere van het 180-jarige bestaan van de universiteit.

On the 15th of November a new TPM MOOC will start in which professor Kornelis Blok will focus on designing a climate neutral world. Participants will learn about climate change strategies and are given basic tools used for evaluation alternative options for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.

Om het elektriciteitsnet klaar te stomen voor de toekomst, is door de TU Delft, overheid en partners als TenneT, samen gebouwd aan een gloednieuw laboratorium: het Electrical Sustainable Power Lab, ook wel het ESP Lab genoemd. Vrijdagmiddag 1 oktober 2021 wordt het lab – ‘een duurzaamheidstempel van formaat’ – officieel in gebruik genomen.

The goal of the High Tech for a Sustainable Future programme is to stimulate structural and sustainable collaborative theme-oriented research between the four TU’s on topics that require 4TU collaboration and for which it is currently more difficult to acquire funding externally (namely new or high risk topics). The societal relevant research programmes attract and develop new and diverse talent for the four TU’s and aim to deliver societal impact through scientific breakthroughs. After a funded start-up period of five years, research should continue without 4TU.Federation funding. The programmes strive to increase visibility and impact of the 4TU.Federation in society.
