Midterm Review
The midterm/first stage/literature review takes place after roughly 3 months. You present your progress by means of a presentation, or any other form which you have agreed upon with your supervisor at the start of the project. The aim of the midterm/first stage/literature review is to provide you with feedback to determine your progress. On the basis of the work done, it is decided whether the goals, as agreed upon at the start, are still feasible. If not, they are reconsidered and adapted, or a second session of the review is scheduled. After the midterm/first stage/literature review, the student has a clear idea of how to proceed in order to finish the thesis in time.
