The Strategic agenda 2024-2030 lays out eight developments which affect the university today and will continue to do so in the near future. By using foresight, we are helping the TU Delft to navigate those developments. Our approaches are nonlinear, agile and adaptive. We are not the only ones using foresight to tackle these challenges, however. There is a plethora of organizations, institutes and think tanks – nationally and internationally – which apply foresight into their work to analyze developments such as climate change, Deep Tech innovation, the national political environment, societal polarization, geopolitical developments, the talent race or intergenerational relations.
