AIESEC in Delft is a not for profit student organisation dedicated to promoting global understanding and leadership through international volunteer opportunities.

Our volunteer projects are carefully designed to align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This alignment ensures that the projects not only contribute to meaningful global progress but also address pressing social and environmental issues. Volunteering with AIESEC in Delft goes beyond just the projects themselves; it is an immersive experience that promotes cross-cultural understanding and personal growth. You will work alongside diverse communities, gaining invaluable insights into different cultures and perspectives, which fosters global empathy and collaboration.

In addition to participating in volunteer projects, you can also join AIESEC in Delft’s board. We offer both full-time and part-time board roles, giving you the flexibility to contribute to our mission while pursuing your academic and personal goals. Serving on the board provides a unique opportunity to develop leadership and organisational skills. You will be involved in planning and executing various volunteering programs. Next to this you will also have access to a range of development opportunities, including conferences, training sessions, and workshops. These experiences are designed to enhance your skills, expand your network, and prepare you for future professional and personal challenges.

Aquatica - Earth Leaders Project

Aquatica is one of the Earth Leader Projects. This project seeks to advance Sustainable Development Goal #14 by engaging coastal communities in activities that enhance the sustainability of marine environments and protect the wildlife that inhabit these ecosystems. Sterre participated in an aquatica initiative in Sri Lanka, where she contributed to efforts aimed at improving the well-being of local turtle populations.

On the Map - Fair Future Project

On the Map is one of the Fair Future Projects. This project aims to support Sustainable Development Goal #8 by strengthening the capacity of local communities to develop sustainable tourism initiatives that generate revenue and enhance employability in the region. In Africa, you can for example contribute to this effort by capturing photos of their safari tours, showcasing the beauty and opportunities of the area.

Global Classroom - Teach Project

Global Classroom is one of the Teach projects focused on enhancing community literacy in mathematics, science, and languages. By participating, volunteers help improve educational standards. Crystal took part in a Global Classroom project and had a remarkable experience. She enjoyed connecting with local teachers, children, and the family she stayed with. A highlight of her trip was the unique opportunity to teach monks, adding a meaningful dimension to her volunteer work.
