International Applicants
Admission requirements
Graduates with a BSc Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) obtained at a foreign university may apply for admission and are required to follow the international admission procedure. They can be admitted to the programme provided they have a minimum Grade Point Average of 75%.
Bachelor's degree obtained in India
MSc Chemical Engineering has a more stringent requirement for applicants in possession of a bachelor's degree obtained in India, compared to other MSc programmes at the university. To be considered for admission, they should have at least a four-year bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from a mainstream university (state / federal or 'deemed' institution) and have passed with First Class Distinction - or First Class from one of the Indian Institutes of Technology, Birla Institute of Technology & Science (Pilani), or Institute of Chemical Technology (Mumbai).
