Lab on Internet Science (LOIS)

At LOIS we work on building a robust, yet flexible network infrastructure accommodating the connected systems and applications of the future. For our publications, see here.

Research areas

We have provided SDN & P4 tools for network monitoring, fast failover, QoS, and information-centric networking.
We have initiated the Do IoT fieldlab and work on open-source software and management solutions for cellular networks.
We have built a tool for analyzing the vulnerability of a network to many possible hazards (from small-scale failures to large disasters).
