Julien Vuillamy

Julien Vuillamy is a postdoctoral researcher working at the intersection of Architecture and Computer Vision. As of May 2024, he is part of both the AiDAPT lab at the Faculty of Architecture and the Computer Graphics and Visualization (CGV) Group. Under the supervision of Seyran Khademi and Elmar Eisemann, his research focuses on generating floorplans from indoor imagery and utilizing them for advanced 3D visualizations.

He completed his PhD with the TITANE group at INRIA Sophia-Antipolis, in collaboration with Dassault Systèmes (Aix-en-Provence, France). His doctoral work focused on reconstructing large-scale urban scenes from aerial photogrammetry, where he developed efficient surface reconstruction algorithms for processing large 3D point clouds.
