The Senses Islands

My designed exhibition is about the sensory experience of stones. The collection of the Science Center Delft is exhibited based on the sensory richness of the stones. The five senses are represented in the five sense islands or displays. In a display you can feel the stones, because you cannot see them. In a display, you can hear the sound of dripstones forming. There are stones that give off smells, especially when they are dirty, and you can even taste stones. The model shows the island of the senses. The visitor is surrounded by the large luminescent grinding plates. In the display case, visitors can admire the grinding plates through a microscope. Let the stones come to life through the sensory displays.
