Professor Vogelsang’s voyage of discovery

In the exhibition 'Professor Vogelsang's voyage of discovery', discovering and learning about the world of minerals and mines is central. Together with Professor Vogelsang, who set up the mineral collection of Science Centre Delft, you will travel along 6 mines in Indonesia, Canada and the Czech Republic. In each country you will learn about the culture, the mines, and the minerals through the locals. In the pictured model you can see a section of the Canadian room. In this room visitors explore the recreation of a Canadian forest. The minerals are exhibited on and in the wooden boxes in the middle of the room.
