Floor Karstens - A sound to remember

The equipment we use to listen to music has changed a lot over the years. This has also influenced the sound and experience of listening to music.
This exhibition emphasizes this change by distinguishing 7 groups, characterized by its technology and the year in which it was discovered. Several objects from the Henry Baudet collection as well as additional objects are exhibited in these groups. Each group will also be supported by a hanging object, in which sounds belonging to the technology are played. This exhibition will enable older visitors to revisit their youth, while young visitors can learn about the technologies and experience the ambience of the different music devices.
