Background
Technical drawing is a fundamental skill for the engineering profession and is taught in most bachelor programs at TU Delft. Instructors are constantly developing new course materials, tools, and activities to keep technical drawing instruction up-to-date with industry standards while also teaching students how to work in groups and meet deadlines. However, there is limited knowledge-sharing and collaboration among different faculties regarding how these topics are taught.

Recognizing this gap, Eddy van den Bos, technical drawing instructor and CATIA expert from AE, asked PRIMECH to help establish a special interest group. The group aims to bring together TU Delft's technical drawing / CAD / 3D modelling instructors to share knowledge, experiences, and best teaching practices. The focus will be on Bachelor-level instruction.

This will be the first session of the special interest group, where participants will introduce themselves and share ideas on how to shape the community and what objectives to pursue.

If you want to contribute to the discussion, don't miss this event!
