FAQ

How is exam fraud determined?

The reviewers who conduct the online proctoring report suspicious behaviour but do not determine whether it is exam fraud. That is always the responsibility of the board of examiners. Exam fraud includes, among other things:

  • Using (or attempting to use) unauthorized aids such as the internet, a mobile phone, or other devices during the exam.
  • Exchanging answers with others during the exam.
  • Seeking help from others during an exam.
  • Being out of the webcam’s range or turning off the microphone during the exam, except during an official break.
  • Making (or attempting to make) technical changes that undermine the proctoring and/or exam system.
