FAQ

Are there requirements for the room where students take their online exams?

TU Delft understands that this is a special situation where you do not have everything under control. We ask you to convey the following requirements to your students:
It is a place where they will not be disturbed.

  • There are no other people in the room.
  • It is quiet (no music or other audio).
  • They have a good wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired internet connection; wired is preferred (students should ask their housemates/family members not to download or stream movies).
  • There are no books, summaries, answers, notes, etc., on or near the table unless it is clearly indicated in advance that this is allowed.
  • They do not use headphones, headsets, or advanced earplugs (simple foam earplugs are allowed).
  • If there are personal items on the wall or in the room, temporarily remove them from view (for example, by covering them with a sheet).

Note: Any room that meets these conditions is allowed; it does not have to be their bedroom.
