NTU now requires that at least 50% of your credits are taken in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE). The remaining 50% should be from the College of Engineering.
The list of restricted courses can be found here.
The course catalogue can be found here.
NTU also offers two course packages specifically for TU Delft students (which are not regular minors at NTU and you can’t find them as such on their website). The minors are in the field of Robotics and Manufacturing Engineering. The courses included for those themes can be found below. You need to find 1 additional course to get to 30 ECTS (15 NTU AU credit = 30 ECTS).
Minor in Manufacturing Engineering
MA4882 Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Processing
MA4822 Measurements and Sensing System
MA4849 Operations Research
MA4884 Systems Thinking and Systems EngineeringMinor in Robotics
MA4822 Measurements and Sensing Systems
MA2002 Theory of Mechanism
MA4825 Robotics
MA2009 Introduction to Electrical Circuits & Electronic Devices (MA2009 is mutually exclusive course with MA5705)Note that, eventhough these are predefined minor packages, there might be some overlap in the timetable. However, lectures are generally recorded. Also note that the courses in the pre-defined minors are restricted to take when if you have not selected the respective pre-defined minor (so you cannot add then to your self-made course list).
Course codes of NTU will indicate the study year the course is offered. The first digit generally signifies the level of study, for example XX4XXX is a fourth year course. Courses with the digit of 8 or 9 are elective courses and suitable for students of any programme and any study year. Our faculty will consider those as 1st or 2nd year courses from 2019-2020 onwards.
NTU works with an add and drop period, after this period you will not be able to drop your courses anymore.

Exchange students are required to take a minimum of 12 modular credits (MCs) per semester (approximately 3 modules) and no more than 20 MCs (approximately 5 modules). Higher-level undergraduate modules have limited or restricted access for exchange students. The list of available courses for exchange students can be found here. The list will be updated around mid-March for Semester 1 and mid-August for Semester 2 exchange. Note, that NUS is very strict considering pre-requisites.
Please note, that students must be majoring in Business or Law at their home university in order to be considered eligible for NUS Business School courses or Law courses and even then, students are not guaranteed placement in the modules. There is a list of restricted courses, which can be found here. Note that, Economics, Psychology and Computer Science modules are extremely oversubscribed.
Undergraduate students are not allowed to follow Master courses.
Courses that are most competitive are in Computing / Computer Science, Architecture and Industrial Design. Exchange students are usually able to secure about two courses in these areas, but it will be difficult for them to read a full semester load (i.e. 3 to 5 courses at NUS) in these subjects. Exchange students are encouraged to explore other subjects to complement their courses in these areas.
