ME Faculty Workshop (FW)

What is the Faculty Workshop?

The ME Faculty Workshop (FW) provides support to students, teachers, and researchers for the design, fabrication, and validation of individual parts, prototypes, and (measurement) setups. The FW has an extensive collection of machinery that students, teachers, and researchers can use after instruction.

What can you do at the FW?

The FW is not only a place to work; you can also request advice and support for the design, measurement, and validation of prototypes and setups. For this purpose, the workshop has a wide range of measuring equipment available.

It is also possible for researchers and ME staff to have parts made by the FW staff, especially when they are difficult to make.  In addition, the FW offers support for larger projects, in which parts of the design or project can be taken over by the FW staff.

The workshop is located in the ME faculty building, room G-0-230. You are free to walk in and ask questions at the desk.
