D.S.H.V Torius is a student handball association in Delft, we offer training twice a week and have (non-handbal related) activities regularly.

D.S.H.V. Torius has two teams, a men’s team and a women's team, both playing 2nd class in a NHV (Dutch Handball Federation) league. There is practice twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday. The ladies and the gents practice at the same time, but on different parts of the field. The home matches are played right after each other, so both teams can enjoy full support from everyone! The level of our players is very different, there are people who just started handball and have to learn from the beginning, but we do also have players who join the practice and play in higher leagues in their own team. Not only the level of the players is different, also the goal of joining Torius is different. You can come to Torius to play handball, but also come to Torius just for the activities and ‘gezelligheid’.

For this gezelligheid we do have various committees, runned by members, such as the activity committee, the tournament committee and the beach handball committee. They organize (non-handball related) activities and we visit student tournaments in other cities, both indoors as on the beach. Next to this we have a ‘borrel’ every first monday of the month, but we like to stay for drinks after the practices.

We are open for everyone: whether you played handball before or not, only want to join the practices or also want to join the competition team, or if you only want to join the activities and tournaments. Internationals are more than welcome, practices are given in English.
