Extra challenges and support

In addition to the BSc Nanobiology programme, various opportunities are also offered to challenge yourself extra, to network and to further develop yourself during your studies. Or maybe instead of an extra challenge, you need some extra guidance during your studies.

New experiences

Internship

The BSc Nanobiology programme does not include an internship. The bachelor's final project (BEP) is comparable to an internship and is the final part of your BSc Nanobiology.

Additional opportunities

Academic counselling

Each study programme has one or more study advisors that you can turn to with questions about the content of the programme, its organization and everything that comes with it. Do you have questions about matters that go beyond your academic education? Career and Counseling Services has a team of student counsellors, psychologists and study choice and career advisers who can support you. The service is based on 5 pillars: Basic Study Skills, Learning to Collaborate, Making Choices during your Study (choice of study), Career Development and Self-Knowledge & Self-Management. There are - mostly free - (online) workshops, training courses, online material, walk-in consultation hours and the possibility of one-on-one conversations. For questions about studying with a disability, you can find more information here.

Mentoring

During the first six months of your study programme you will be assigned a mentor (senior student). You will meet this student at the introduction day of the programme.
