Angie Rangel Cardenas

Biography

Angie Rangel received a  Chemical Engineering degree in 2012 from Universidad Industrial de Santander (Colombia) with a focus on environmental impact and life cycle assessment (LCA). After that, she moved to the Netherlands in 2013, and in 2015 she received a M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Technology from TU Delft. Her master’s focus was on photovoltaics and energy storage, culminating with a thesis on hydrogen evolution in alkaline batteries; this work was done in the Chemical Engineering department with the Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion group (MECS). Finally, since 2016 She is part of ASM as a PhD candidate. Her current research involves the study of new (electro)- catalytic materials  for improved mass and charge transfer at interfacial sites in PEM Fuel Cells.
