Municipality of Delft / Urban Energy Institute TU Delft
Location: Lecture Hall at DUWO Building, Professor Schermerhornstraat 4, Delft

As part of Delft Climate Week, the Urban Energy Institute (UEI) of TU Delft and the Municipality of Delft are organizing an event focused on participation issues within the energy transition. During the event, we will explore key participation questions, such as:

  • How can the municipality facilitate collective measures while considering the different speeds at which individuals are becoming more sustainable?

  • How can participation be effectively organized across the city, taking into account time, capacity and funding?

  • How can residents' involvement be made more inclusive and wider reaching?

Practical Examples
Using practical examples and innovative research, we will discuss strategies to stimulate broader participation. Experts will share their insights, and participants are encouraged to engage actively in discussions. We invite everyone to contribute to this important dialogue. Together, we aim to find solutions to these complex issues to shape Delft's energy future in a fair and inclusive manner.
