The Dutch Research School of Philosophy (OZSW) and TU Delft invite PhD candidates in philosophy to register for the Summer School The Ethics of Influence to take place on July 22– 26, 2024.
This July, TU Delft will host the first OZSW Summer School on the Ethics of Influence (OZSW = Dutch Research School of Philosophy). We’ll discuss conceptual and ethical questions around the notions of persuasion, deception, coercion, and manipulation in the context of AI and health-influence. It’s a great line-up of speakers, with some of the foremost philosophers working on manipulation like Robert Noggle, Marcia Baron, and Shlomo Cohen.
The summer school is funded by the OZSW, and supported by the Delft Design for Values Institute and the Digital Ethics Centre, and forms part of the upcoming ‘design for human autonomy’ annual theme at the Delft Design for Values Institute.
