In 2004 Prometheus organised it’s first trip to New York as part of the 50th birthday celebrations. Every 5 years we have re-visited, each time with a different group.
As with past trips we will stay in Holiday inn, midtown west with only accommodation included. Breakfast in New York is available in one of the many cafes and breakfast shops. Choose your breakfast and watch the New Yorkers go by hurrying their way to work or other destinations.
Hotel and general travel costs have risen enormously and we have not been successful in organising this trip during a school holiday.
We think you need to be pretty fit to take part in this trip. You need to deal with jetlag and lots of walking.
The Prometheus team will, for those who are interested, show you New York with amongst others a bike ride in Central park, Times Square, Broadway, Wall Street, Liberty Island, Brooklyn Bridge, Greenwich Village and Little Italy.
The hotel has, by New York standards, spacious rooms with 2 queen-size beds and accommodation for 1,2,3, or 4 persons.
The trip is being organised for Prometheus by Destimundo travel.
