SG Writing Huddle at The Nook

12 December 2024 12:45 till 14:00 - Location: TU Delft Library, The Nook | Add to my calendar

A special edition of SG’s writing group, this session will examine the self in relationship to others within the themes of loneliness. We will explore and make use of the interactive artworks of Laurent Mignonneau & Christa Sommerer (presented in the Library) to look into themes such as portraiture, fleeting connections, and selfie culture.

More about the Writing Huddles at the Nook:

SG is starting a new writing group for all levels. We are offering a space where you can focus on your work while still getting support and encouragement. Come along to the Nook 12:45-14:00 every other Thursday. Share what you’re working on, get feedback from your peers, learn new tips and tricks from a professional, or simply sit and write! Creative writing is encouraged, but if you are working on coursework, you are also more than welcome to join.

The Writing Huddle will be run by two programme makers from SG Delft: Dr Marieke Sjerps, who has a PhD in Creative Writing, and Sanne Helbers, author of Alle kleuren van de nacht. The set-up is casual, but if you want some feedback or a prompt to get you going, they’ll be there to help you get started.
