21 November 2024 17:30 till 19:30 - Location: Oostserre - By: Communicatie BK | Add to my calendar

On 21 November, the Digipedia Launch Event takes place.

The event’s program includes a presentation about the platform DigiPedia and related presentations / open panels / interactive debates on the role of “Digital” in Education for Architecture and the Built Environment and what DigiPedia can do for it. DigiPedia is the new BK Platform about Digital Literacy. It collects tutorials and educational material on computational methods, techniques, and tools useful for BK students. DigiPedia is an Open Education platform. The educational material is stored in SURF sharekit and publicly shared according to the principles of Open Education, which makes it available also outside TU Delft.

DigiPedia supports BK Education on content related to “Digital”. This spans from the basics software tutorials to advanced features of programming, developing Machine Learning models, AI techniques, etc. Teachers can upload various type of educational material (text, images, videos, code, etc.) and publish it. Students can navigate through the educational material per course (BSc and various MSc tracks), per subject (e.g. Daylight Simulations; GIS; Parametric Modelling; Generative Design; Machine Learning; etc.), per software (e.g. QGIS, Rhino, Grasshopper, etc.) and, when relevant, per BK LAB.
