Exhibition: House of Henri
26 January 2024 09:00 till 18 February 2024 22:00 - Location: Windows of Delft Marketing in the House of Delft, Houttuinen 8 - By: Communicatie BK | Add to my calendar
From 26 January until 18 February, the exhibition 'House of Henri' will be on show.
The students imagine the House of Delft as the temporary residence of Henri Baudet in their exhibition. It promises to bring his collection of design objects back to life by creating a colorful representation of domestic life, showcasing the everyday items that would exist in his proposed household.
Henri Baudet, known for his keen eye for quirky artifacts and timeless treasures, has his objects stored as a part of the Henri Baudet Institute operating out of the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering (TU Delft) for private viewing.
The six windows offer a captivating journey and also feature the work of the students from the TU Delft Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment minor 'Spaces of Display'. These students have taken inspiration from Henri Baudet's collection to create intricate 1:33 scale models. They have designed an exhibition in the Innovation Gallery at the House of Delft which showcases their interpretation of the Henri Baudet collection.
