Track: Flight Performance and Propulsion
The Flight Performance & Propulsion track integrates the knowledge and expertise of various aeronautical sub-disciplines into conceptual aircraft designs and subsystems that can meet the stringent requirements of the future. The main goal of the Flight Performance and Propulsion track is to contribute to the improvement of flight performance and propulsion. To achieve that we focus on innovative aircraft configurations and novel propulsion concepts. The Flight Performance & Propulsion track offers two profiles namely (1) Flight Performance and (2) Power & Propulsion.
What you will learn
Our internationally oriented programme prepares you to respond effectively and rapidly to the needs in the aerospace sector with solutions that are innovative, technically feasible and commercially viable. You will build your MSc track and profile specific knowledge through courses, practicals, and assignments. Your MSc is completed by a directed internship and a supervised final MSc research project, which includes an extensive literature study.
The objective of this track is to help you become a competent engineer and designer, with specific knowledge and competencies in contemporary methods in aircraft and propulsion system design by providing courses that deepens the knowledge of the students in the fields of propulsion, flight mechanics and aircraft design & design methodologies.
