D:DREAM Vision
The D:DREAM status is a special status a studentproject can receive from the TU Delft. They are not just any projects. So what exactly characterizes a 'DreamTeam'? D:DREAM stands for 'Delft: Dream Realization of Extremely Advanced Machines'. These machines can be about anything, from an exoskeleton that can be used to get people with a spinal cord injury to stand up and walk again to a full-size hydrogen-electric racing boat. They stand out because of their fuel efficiency, because they're powered by sustainable means, or because their technical innovations.
The multidisciplinairy teams consist mainly of students from Delft. The students work hard to achieve great feats at the end of the year. To show the world that, with their approach, they can push boundaries further than anyone expected. They are driven, a little bit stubborn, but also realistic. During the year they learn how to exploit their strengths and to reduce their weaknesses. This makes the DreamTeam members into outstanding engineers.
