In this talk I discuss recent work on rigidity of graph products of von Neumann algebras. I will first introduce some of the theory of von Neumann algebras, II₁-factors, group von Neumann algebras and graph products. I will then discuss some indecomposability properties such as: primeness and strong solidity and will present characterizations of these properties for tracial graph products of von Neumann algebras. Furthermore, I will present new unique prime factorization results and unique graph product decomposition results.
