TU Delft Excellence Fund supports Prof. Stefan de Witte and Dr Anasua Chatterjee

News - 20 September 2024

With support from the TU Delft Excellence Fund, two prominent scientists recently started their work at TU Delft. As per September, Prof. Stefan de Witte has been appointed Professor of Optics for Nanoscale Metrology at the department of Imaging Physics. His research focuses on the imaging of 3D nanostructures like computer chips, using extreme ultraviolet light and ‘lensless microscopy’. With support from the University Fund, Prof. de Witte can immediately start a research group and perform his first experiments. Read more.

In addition, Dr. Anasua Chatterjee started as an associate professor at QuTech. Her work focuses on the development of semiconductor-superconductor circuits for quantum technologies. She aims to improve the control and scalability of quantum systems by making use of fast reading techniques and machine learning. Thanks to the Excellence Fund, Dr Chatterjee can further expand her research group and contribute to the growing quantum community at TU Delft. Read more.
