The programme 'Diagnostics of cancer for appropriate care (CARES)', in which Miriam Menzel (ImPhys), Jeroen Kalkman (ImPhys) and Lioe-Fee De Geus-Oei (RST, LUMC) are co-programme leaders. The developments within this programme contribute to a more sustainable and affordable healthcare system by means of earlier cancer diagnoses, (quantitative) indications and more efficient treatments for only those cancer patients who will actually benefit from them.
