Travelling is important for study, work and personal development, but it has a major negative impact on the environment. Commuting and international business travel, after procurement, energy and food, is the biggest contributor to carbon emissions at TU Delft. Therefore, how do we encourage sustainable mobility in a world where international travel is increasingly common?

In this way, we take a step towards our sustainability ambition; to operate fully carbon neutral, circular and climate-adaptive in 2030, with attention to biodiversity and quality of life.
