Van Leeuwenhoek lecture: Climate neutral aviation? Now boarding!

Sustainable aviation? At the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology, we are convinced that this is possible. Even more, we believe it should be done. On Sunday 8 December 2019, Dean Henri Werij gave the Van Leeuwenhoek lecture ‘Climate neutral aviation? Now boarding!’ in the Science Centre. During the lecture he discussed the technological solutions that TU Delft mainly looks at, such as energy-efficient aircraft, the use of sustainable energy and making operations more sustainable.
