Architecture and Public Building
Architecture as a Sounding Board
The proposed project explores the relationship between architecture and communication, viewing architecture as a medium to foster diversity and inclusivity in Berlin. It acknowledges the city's history of conflict and unrest, which can be linked to its residents' combative nature and self-representation. To address this, a Public Condenser is envisioned as an active infrastructure, serving as a physical and virtual platform for diverse expressions and communication. It aims to bridge the gap of limited spaces for expression and communication platforms by facilitating bottom-up media formations and adapting to the changing dynamics of information transmission. The goal is to create a more inclusive and participatory urban environment where people can come together, share ideas and foster a sense of community.
