In our group, we combine theoretical and computational mechanics with cutting-edge machine learning and data-driven methods to model and design materials and metamaterials.
Broadly, our research focuses on studying the link between microstructures and macroscopic properties to design novel (meta-)materials with tailored, unusual, or beneficial mechanical and physical properties — including metals, polymers, metamaterials, etc
We are located in the Mechanical Engineering faculty of the TU Delft campus in the beautiful city of Delft.
