Join us for a day of embracing authenticity and fostering inclusivity through four interactive workshops in "Unity in diversity: Celebrating coming out and beyond!" Connect, share, and learn with others as we explore topics that empower every voice. The day wraps up with a community gathering open to all—celebrate unity, diversity, and the strength of coming together!
As we mark Coming Out Day, these workshops are designed to help you express your identity, embrace authenticity, and foster connection through creative exploration. Each session encourages participants to channel their personal stories into art, breaking down barriers and celebrating diversity in a safe, inclusive space.
15:30 – 18:00 | Screen Printing Workshop
The first half of this collaborative workshop, run by Auke Triesschijn, will focus on designing a collective piece together, fostering community and shared expression. In the second half, participants will print the design onto a flag, creating a powerful symbol of unity and pride.

Discover the art of leather crafting as a means of self-expression! Yücel Düzgünçinar will show you how to create a personalized leather piece that reflects your journey and individuality, while learning basic techniques from a master artisan.

Join Mara-Elena Hopîrtean and dive into abstract, intuitive drawing as a way to explore and express your inner self. Starting with splashes of colour, participants will be encouraged to let their imagination guide them, creating unique, personal works of art.

In this workshop, participants are invited to bring a sweater or garment they'd like to add onto. Through the art of duplicate stitching, Marta Gavioli will teach you how to personalize and enhance your clothing, weaving your identity into the fabric of your style.

After the workshops, join us for a vibrant celebration in Freetown Foyer with Outsite. The evening will be filled with music, dancing, and a joyful atmosphere as we come together to celebrate creativity, diversity, and unity. This gathering is open to everyone without any requirement for registration, providing a space to connect, share stories, and enjoy a night of festivities. With music, drinks, and plenty of laughter, the party will start at 20:00 and carry on until 23.30, so don’t miss the chance to join in on the fun and celebrate who we are—together.
