National
Climate Week

From 11 to 17 November, it is National Climate Week. At TU Delft, researchers and students are working hard to create a clean and safe future for everyone.

For example, we are bringing knowledge together to better understand the climate and working to accelerate the energy transition. Also at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. Especially for National Climate Week, we collected a number of stories.

Contribute to climate change solutions with aerospace technology? Yes indeed! That is exactly what we are doing at our faculty! For example, we combine our knowledge of aerodynamics, lightweight materials, aviation logistics and propulsion technology to enable sustainable flying in the future without negative effects on the climate. With aerodynamics and innovative materials, we develop wind turbines, some of them floating at sea. And space is also involved: with satellites and optical instruments, we can monitor changes in the atmosphere and thus make climate change measurable.
